Uncharted

Leading Where There Are No Maps

Churches of God Triennial Conference
July 22-24, 2019
Winebrenner Theological Seminary
Findlay Ohio

The Churches of God Triennial Conference convenes every 3 years to conduct the official business of the General Conference, but is also designed as a time of fellowship and inspiration for our shared future.

Keynote Speaker Tod Bolsinger is Vice President and Chief of Leadership Formation at Fuller Theological Seminary. In his book, Canoeing the Mountains: Christian Leadership in Uncharted Territory, he recounts the quest of explorers Lewis and Clark to find a waterway to the Pacific Ocean, but instead they found themselves facing the Rocky Mountains. Tod brings decades of expertise in guiding churches through uncharted territory to help you re-imagine what effective leadership looks like in our rapidly changing world.

The Well for High School Students

July 22-26 at the University of Findlay (UF Campus Map)

The Well is a uniquely transformative week-long faith experience during which high school students are invited to dive deeper in the faith, strengthening their Christ-centered identity while discerning God’s call on their life more clearly. Students at The Well spend time together during the week engaging with immersive worship experiences, examining the Scriptures, exploring church history and the arts, encountering a diverse array of church traditions, sharing in local service opportunities, and living in vital community with other students from all around the country. Students will join General Conference attendees for evening worship.

Come prepared to wrestle with questions like:

  • Who am I?
  • What’s my story?
  • In what ways does God communicate His will to us?
  • Does God have a specific plan for us?
  • How do we know what God is calling us to do?
  • How can I use my gifts to serve my fellow man?
