What is IMPACT?

IMPACT is an annual discipleship event sponsored by the Churches of God, General Conference. It’s approximately sixty-four, jam-packed hours of authentic and inspiring worship, life-changing teaching, engaging breakout seminars, and rich fellowship with old and new friends. It’s our prayer that God will use your time at IMPACT to transform you into the person that He desires you to be so that you can pursue the life He has for you.

Who is IMPACT designed for?

Virtually everyone! Our general sessions are designed to engage and challenge folks of all ages to take a deeper, more intimate walk with Christ. The breakout seminars are created with a diverse community in mind: middle school and senior high students, youth workers, pastors, lay leaders, ministry volunteers, men, women, and parents too. This year you’ll find some breakouts designed for specific groups of people (like middle school students or pastors) and other breakouts intentionally left open to a wide range of people of all ages. For children we offer KIDPACT, our special program designed for children ages 4 through fifth grade. From field trips (this year's trips include the Toledo Zoo and the UF's Mazza Museum featuring childrens books) to awesome kid-focused curriculum, your child will enjoy the fun and learning adventure that is KIDPACT. Lastly, we also offer Child’s Play for infants and toddlers under the age of 3. You’ll find that Child’s Play offers a warm, caring and nurturing environment for your child while you take in a general session or breakout session.

IMPACT CODE OF ETHICS

IMPACT is a caring community where

  • all people will treat one another in Christian love:
  • we will help each other experience the oneness of Christ’s body;
  • we will fellowship and worship with others because of our love for God;
  • we will strive to be a witness of Christ in everything we do and say.

Because of this attitude we will

  • leave all harmful substances at home;
  • respect one another’s privacy;
  • stay out of areas we don’t belong (girls stay out of guys dorms, guys’ stay out of girls’ dorms, etc.);
  • wear our name tags at all times (except in the shower!);
  • show Christ’s love to everyone we encounter;
  • make the most of every opportunity.
