THE SARVERS

Michael (Brook) and Sara grew up in the Midwest and met as students at Huntington University. Sara has served missions internships in a Chattanooga, TN inner city ministry and with Samaritan’s Purse in Liberia, West Africa. Both Brook and Sara participated in a missions trip to Ghana, West Africa sponsored by their Olive Branch Church of God in Roann, IN.

But an extended ministry in Thailand in 2005 helped to clarify where God wanted them to invest a major portion of their lives together. That 6½ month internship deepened their relationship with God and with each other as well as ignited a desire to reach the Thai people.

Brook and Sara graduated from Huntington in May 2006 with Bachelor of Science degrees majoring in Missions. They were married the following month and currently serve on staff at Olive Branch Church as they prepare for missionary service.

CGGC Cross-Cultural Ministries approved the Sarvers as missionary candidates in November 2007. Their first term will focus on language and culture training with /OMF Thailand/.
