2009 ACTS Team - Southwest U.S.
Led by Lance Finley and others
Spend a week serving along side the Southwest ministries of the Churches of God, General Conference. This ACTS Team will be assisting the Gamerco, Tsaile, and Hooghan Nizhoni churches in their unique ministry to their local communities. Team members will spend part of their time at each of these three churches, be able to learn about the Navajo culture firsthard as well as experience beautiful Southwestern United States.
We need team members with the following gifts: musical abilities, vocal abilities, worship leading, leading small groups discussions, teaching children and youth and the ability to perform some light construction (painting, etc.).

2009 ACTS Team - Chicago
Led by Jim Franks and others
In conjuction with Willow Creek’s student servant leadership program, Lead222, high school students on this team will learn more of what it means to be a leader by serving the people of Chicago. Join Jim Franks and others from Timberlake church to travel to Chicago and partner with exisitng urban ministries as they assist those with physical, financial, and emotional difficulties.
Projects could include: painting, stocking food pantries, serving the homeless, working in children’s programs, construction projects, sorting clothes, cleaning up, serving the elderly and various other jobs. In addition, the team members will have sessions training them about what it means to lead by serving others. 2009 ACTS Team – Pittsburgh Project
Led by Mike Bobula and others
Spend a week serving along side the of The Pittsburgh Project in the beautiful city of Pittsburgh. Through the minsitry of the Pittsburgh Project, this ACTS Team will be addressing the problem of substandard housing throughout the city. The team will be performing general constructions tasks as well as building relationships with the homewowners they serve. Team members will be able to learn about urban culture firsthand as they experience the amazing city of Pittsburgh.
We need team members with the following gifts: ability to work hard, general construction skills, a willingness to learn, and good relational skills.
